Create scary chic halloween decor with foam skulls, twinkle lights, drippy candles, and faux black crows. This halloween decor is scary chic!
When I was in middle school, I hosted a Halloween party at my grandma’s house. I had the tiniest budget and only a few friends attended, but the memory of decorating for that event is burned in my mind forever. It was the first time I felt like I knew who I was and what I liked to do…create for others.
So when I set out to decorate our house for Halloween, I did it for my girls. As a result, they got to come home from school and find this festive, scary chic Halloween decor in our entryway. What a fun after-school treat!
This is just the right dose of spooky for them (and me).
I thrifted this cloche months ago, knowing I would use it for holiday decorating. The mini skulls and fairy lights were the perfect decor items to place inside.
I used classic pull-apart webbing and some glitter spiders to drape over my heirloom Aimee mirror.
You can see how I created this skull cloche on my Instagram stories.
This scary chic Halloween decor is an easy way to make your home festive without feeling cluttered or tacky. The bonus is that I can pack this decor away and reuse it in different ways each year. I know I’ll love this classic scary chic Halloween decor for years to come, and my girls will too.
Do you decorate for Halloween?
Hi! I’m new to your blog. Great blog, thanks for the inspiration! Have a question regarding your stair railing/banister I noticed in the background. What paint, color, finish did you use? I’ve been wanting to paint mine and that looks great!
Hi there. Thank you for your question! I’ll be sharing all the details in a blog post soon, so stay tuned!
