One year ago I was hustling to complete this bandaid kitchen renovation in time for Hannah's birthday party. This year, for her Sweet 16, I'm hosting thirty teenagers and nearly every area of our house is under construction...go figure. Since we moved in three years ago, there has always been a project going on, but I've always opened my door. As much as I'd like to have all the renovations completed before hosting, I discovered a long time ago that nobody cares about the house...they only care about the hospitality. So bring on the teens and the noise and the memories...ready or not.
